Get your plant on at these 3 Tucson plant sales

  •
  • With the sun rising later and setting sooner, plus the fact it is not a million degrees outside, it could mean that fall is on the horizon, at least in Tucson.
That also means this is your chance to jazz up your landscape or grow plants to later attract critters like butterflies and hummingbirds when they bloom.
So it's time to get down and dirty because there several local Fall plant sales going on around town.
Here is a list of some of our upcoming fall plant sales:
  • The Pima County Master Gardeners 2018 Fall Plant Sale, at 4210 N. Campbell Ave., is having their sale on Oct. 6, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

  • Tucson Organic Gardeners

  • The Tucson Organic Gardeners Fall Fair will feature more than a dozen vendors with seeds, herbs, flowers, trees, and more.
There will also be a free compost and gardening class at 11 a.m., in addition to children's activities.
The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 in the Second Street parking lot of St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, 3809 E. Third Street.
